Fresh Strawberry Sauce


(SERVES 4)
  • 225 g/8 oz ripe strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 eating (dessert) apple, chopped
  • 15 ml/1 tbsp pineapple juice
Puree the strawberries and apple in a blender or food processor until smooth, and the pineapple juice. Sieve (strain), if liked.
