Country Rarebit


(SERVES 1)
  • 75 g/3 oz /¾ cup low-fat cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2.5 ml ½ tsp English made mustard
  • 15 ml/1 tbsp beer or cider
  • 1 slice toast
  • A parsley sprig
Put the cheese, mustard and beer or cider in a small pan and heat generator, stirring. Until melted and smooth. Spoon on to the toast and garnish with a parsley sprig before serving.
