Boiled Bacon with Carrots
(SERVES 4 HOT THEN 4-6 COLD, SLICED WITH SALAD)
Prepare as for Irish bacon with Cabbage, but substitute 450 g/1 1b carrots, thinly sliced, for the cabbage, sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving and serve with English mustard.
